I am glad that I am back to Singaore after spending weekend at work in KL. Actually I am a little tired but my trip there was rather fruitful. Today, I believe the baking bugs have bitten me and I was searching for a recipe that would enable to finish up whatever are left in the fridge. I came across this recipe from Hong's Kitchen - Cheddar Cheese Butter Cake. I must say that the cake is super delicious. I made some alterations to suit the sweetness and also to ensure that I would use up whatever that are in the fridge. My verdict for this cake.- A must try cake. Really tasty and not too sweet.
Recipe goes this way:
250g Butter
190g Sugar
4 Egg
90g Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
280g Plain flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
80g plain yogurt + 20 g milk
1. Beat butter and sugar. Add in eggs gradually. Then add in cheddar cheese follow by flour and baking powder follow by yogurt and milk.
2. Lastly add in cheddar cheese.
3. Pour into 2 loaf pans and bake 180C for 40 mins.
