Woke up pretty early on Sunday to make this roll as I wanted to bring it with me for my friends in SAPA.
Recipe goes this way:
190g sponge mix from Phoon Huat
1tsp pandan paste
37g melted butter
37g water or coconut milk
1. Beat sponge mix with pandan paste, water or coconut milk and eggs till fluffy
2. Add in melted butter and mix well.
3. Pour into a 14 X 10 swiss roll pan and bake for 15 mins at 180C
Remove cake from pan and overturn the roll:
Spread kaya thinly onto the cake:
Roll up the cake:
That goes the pandan swiss roll.....
