Macadamia Chocolate Chips Cookies

I often passed by Famous Amos Cookies store on my way to lunch and the aroma of the various cookies always linger in the air. I happened to stop by the store yesterday to admire the types of cookies. I told myself that the next challenge bake I am going to engage myself in will be the Macadamia Chocolate Chips Cookies. Since I have all the ingredients ready in my fridge, I started this challenge.

Recipe goes this way:

90g butter (cold)
60g brown sugar
40g caster sugar
1 egg
150g plain flour + 1/2 tsp soda
150g chocolate chips
75g coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp chocolate emalco

1. Beat butter with the two sugar. Add in egg, vanilla and chocolate emalco. Then fold in flour, soda, chips, nuts.

2. Roll each into small balls and put on tray lined with parchment paper.

3. Bake 180C for 12 - 15 mins.
